Fran meets a man at the supermarket. They flirt, and he tells her he works on Wall Street. On their very first date, Mr. Sheffield "steals" Glen from Fran Glen convinces him to invest $100,000 in stocks. On a walk with Brighton, Fran discovers that Glen is not a stock broker, but a hot dog vendor. She tries to get Ms. Babcock to stop Mr. Sheffield from giving Glen the money, but she won't as this will cause Maxwell to fire Fran. So Fran has to go to the club to stop him herself. They won't allow women in, so, when she hears the "I Love Lucy" theme on the television set, she dresses up as a man in order to save Mr. Sheffield.
